As-Needed Architectural and Engineering Services Notice is hereby given that statement of qualifications (SOQ) will be received by the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) for architecture and engineering services. This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents. Architecture and engineering services include a full range of services from initial concept to closeout. Specialized skills on project types similar to the following, ADA compliance improvements, kitchen and/or bathroom renovation designs, solar electric projects, emergency electric generators, electric vehicle charging stations, roofing and waterproofing, business facade improvements, sound mitigation projects, structural analysis, concrete repairs, water supply line coatings, site improvement projects, and all work related to Public Housing, Business Revitalization and Sound Mitigation and other design solutions as described herein in Appendix B, Statement of Work. The LACDA may award multiple contracts, provided services are satisfactory and funds are available. The types of services requested may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: planning, feasibility studies, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, design calculations, specifications, cost estimates, entitlement, plan check, bidding, construction administration, construction management, and project close out; space planning and interior design; other services, including any and all related sub-consultants as may be necessary on specific projects, such as, but not limited to, public outreach, need assessments, community meeting coordination and/or presentations, marketing, programming; civil, on-site and off-site utility coordination, geotechnical, deputy inspections, traffic, environmental, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other engineering; LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) engineering; landscape design; and any other related services required by the project. Proposers shall provide their SOQ and all required forms and documentations by the due date and time stated herein. Proposer must upload as follows: a copy of the original Proposal in a Portable Document File (PDF) format (No other electronic formats will be accepted): The Proposal shall bear the following file name: "[PROPOSER'S NAME] REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR AS-NEEDED ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING SERVICES [PROPOSAL DUE DATE]" The Proposal shall be uploaded on the LACDA's website at www.lacda.org, under "Vendors" click on "Learn More", and then under "View Open Solicitations" click "Learn More." Next, select the solicitation, "As-Needed Architecture and Engineering Services" and click "Upload Proposals," and follow the registration instructions to upload the proposals. Once uploaded, the Proposer shall email Susana Oliveros at susana.oliveros@lacda.org to confirm the upload of the Proposal. Any Proposer who wishes his/her SOQ to be considered is responsible for making certain that it is received by the LACDA. No oral, facsimile, or telephonic SOQ or modifications will be considered unless specified. SOQ received after the scheduled deadline will not be considered. In submitting a SOQ, each Proposer thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard LACDA contract, a sample of which is attached to the RFSQ package for reference. The LACDA shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any Proposer who refuses to execute said standard LACDA contract. The LACDA reserves the right to reject any and all SOQ. This RFSQ is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The LACDA is not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent's SOQ. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFSQ. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the LACDA reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the SOQ.
