Renovation of an educational facility in Dalton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project includes modifications to the building's exterior walls to reduce air infiltration and improve energy efficiency. Bid Bond in the form attached hereto as Exhibit / Tab L of five percent (5%) of the lump sum contract price (exclusive of any price for Alternates or unit prices). Required Payment and Performance Bond forms will be furnished by the Architect and are required to be submitted by the Contractor in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. Such Payment and Performance Bonds shall each be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the lump sum contract price as set forth in the Agreement between the Board and the Contractor. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any technicalities or informalities. Incomplete or irregular Proposals, and Proposals submitted without the required Bid Bond, may be rejected by the Board.
