The City of Danville seeks to procure professional engineering services for the purpose of executing a stormwater analysis of and designing capital projects for a 724-acre watershed designated as "Sub-Basin F" which consists of the entire area that drains to the tributary of Spears Creek at the intersection of Springhill Road and KY 33. Final deliverables shall include: o Data collected to accurately model flow, volume and water quality for the purpose of improving the overall water quantity and quality conditions of the basin including specific trouble areas o Analysis of potential options to determine the most viable and acceptable projects to minimize flood intensity, frequency and duration, and reduce nonpoint source pollution loading to Spears Creek with a delineation between public and private projects o Design documents for selected projects including cost comparisons, plans, specifications and necessary easements o Project Assistance throughout the construction process including bidding, project management, and evaluation Submittal Requirements and Ranking Criteria: o Project approach and discussion of concepts o A listing of projects similar in nature the firm has completed; include project description, location, date completed, and client contact o Discussion of firm experience and expertise related to drainage basin analysis o Qualifications of the proposed project manager and team members o Proposed scope of work o Proposed project schedule listing tasks and times of completion Contract will be between selected firm and the City of Danville. The City of Danville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
