Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a water / sewer project in Seaford, Delaware. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work under this contract consists of modifying and converting an existing wet pit/dry pit pump station to a conventional submersible pump station. Work includes bypass pumping, demolition, concrete installation and rehabilitation, valve vault installation, site improvements, paving, electrical controls cabinet and diesel generator, all appurtenances, restoration of areas disturbed by construction, and all associated work. Contract Duration: 360 Calendar Days Contractors who submit a bid on this project shall be qualified and experienced in projects of similar size, type and complexity. Each Bid must be accompanied by Contractor Qualification Statement, which shall present evidence of successfully completing three (3) or more similar construction projects within the last five (5) years. Provide project name and location, owner contact information, project description, change order history, construction cost and completion date. Each bid must be accompanied by a BID BOND payable to the OWNER for ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid. The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Seaford may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any Bid.
