Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Sheldon, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

For Sheldon Regional Airport - Rehabilitation Runway 15/33 Project No: FAA AIP 3-19-0081-019 (FY22), SHL 20515004-08 Proposals received will be presented to the Sheldon City Council and considered at a meeting, presided over by the Mayor, to be held at City Hall, 416 9th Street, Sheldon, Iowa at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th day of February 2023. At such time and place, the Sheldon City Council shall also hold a Public Hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, form of Contract and estimate of cost for the construction of said improvements hereinafter described in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 384, Code of Iowa, at 5 p.m. on the 15th of February 2023 at City Hall, 416 9th Street, Sheldon, Iowa. At the hearing, the Council will receive and consider any objections made by any interested party to the Plans and Specifications, proposed form of Contract, and the estimate of the cost for the project. The Owner has established a DBE contract goal of 2.15 percent for this contract. The Bidder/Offeror shall make good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A, 49 CFR Part 26, to subcontract 2.15% of the dollar value of the prime contract to certified DBE firms as defined in 49 CFR Part 26.
