Site work for a communication facility in Ford, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
The SPOKANE TRIBE OF INDIANS is requesting proposals from responsive, responsible, and qualified firms for three (3) 190' Self-Support Broadband Towers and one (1) specific broadband site built on an existing community water tower located on the Spokane Indian Reservation. One tower site will be located near Two Rivers, WA in the Highway 25 area, one tower site will be located near Ford, WA on Reservation Road and one site will be located near Ford in the New House Lane area. All sites are located on the Spokane Tribe of Indians Reservation. The vendor will be responsible for the engineering, design, construction and purchasing of equipment for two (2) 190' Self-Support Broadband Towers and one (1) specific broadband site built on an existing community water tower located on the Spokane Indian Reservation. One tower site will be located near Two Rivers, WA in the Highway 25 area, one tower site will be located near Ford, WA on Reservation Road and one site will be located near Ford in the New House Lane area. All sites are located on the Spokane Tribe of Indians Reservation. The infrastructure of the three broadband sites, shall be maintained by the awarded vendor for a period of 5 years (with the option for the Spokane Tribe to extend the contract for up to 5 additional years and continual extensions or renewals as required) with follow up support options provided by the awarded vendor. The awarded vendor must be willing and able to offer and provide all necessary requirements and/or needs for any future upgrades. The towers are for the delivery of telecommunication services on the Spokane Indian Reservation. The successful contractor will be required to provide the following: Include tower excavate, construct, erect and stand Contractor will be responsible for all applicable permits and licenses, including a TERO license Installation of towers to start as soon as possible and anticipate being completed by March of year 2024. Include maintenance and support for each tower site location for a period of 5 years with the option for the Broadband Services to extend the contract for up to 5 additional years and continual extensions or renewals as required with follow up support options provided by the awarded contractor. If a light system is required by the FAA, include maintenance, support, monitoring and servicing for a period of 5 years with the option for the Broadband Services to extend the contract for up to 5 additional years and continual extensions or renewals as required with follow up support options provided by the awarded contractor. Location one for (1) water tower setup is near Ford, WA area for a site in the New House Lane area approximately located at 47.939345, -117.790469 Location two for (1) 190' Self-Support Tower is near Ford, WA area for a tower on Reservation Road approximately located at 47.911028, -117.875897 Location three for (1) 190' Self-Support Tower is near 2 rivers, WA area for a tower near Highway 25 approximately located at 47.952612, -118.308410 The awarded contractor will be in charge of purchasing the telecommunications equipment as well. All equipment will be similar if not exact to the equipment on each of the 3 current broadband towers located on the Spokane Indian Reservation. Include six (6) foot fencing with barbed wire, fifteen (15) feet from the base of the towers and surrounding each tower. Please ensure there is at least 3 ft of fence distance for the HVAC systems at each site. All plans and equipment will be reviewed and approved by the Broadband Services manager. The towers need to meet all applicable county and federal codes including rev G for wind and ice loading, and structurally support the following information. The bond must be made to the Spokane Tribe of Indians as assurance the vendor will, if selected, enter into contract with the Spokane Tribe of Indians to complete the entire project as specified in this document. Bonds will be returned to each vendor after a final award and all contract documents are in place. The selected contractor must obtain a performance bond for 100 percent of the original contract price. A "performance bond' is one executed in connection with a contract to secure fulfillment of all contractor's obligations under such contract. If the contract price increases, the bond amount shall be increased accordingly. The contractor must obtain a payment bond for 100 percent of the original contract price. A "payment bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract. If the contract price increases, the bond shall be increased accordingly. The Spokane Tribe of Indians Reserves: The right to reject any or all quotes, to serve in the best interest of the Spokane Tribe.
