HOC-CR249-0.00 Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bidders must comply with the Federal Prevailing Wage Rates and 6% DBE on this Public Improvement in Hocking County. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than April 30, 2022. Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this PROJECT. Prequalification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. For work types that ODOT does not pre-qualify, the LPA must still select a qualified contractor. Subcontractors are not subject to the pre-qualification requirement. The "prime" contractor must perform no less than 30 percent of the total original contract price. Bidders must comply with the Federal Prevailing Wage Rates on this Public Improvement in Hocking County. The Hocking County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any or all regulations.
