Renovation of an educational facility in Morton Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project has been rebid For D70 Park View School Summer 2023 Roof Replacements The Project Base Bid Work generally consists of replacement of roofing on Roof Area 16: 1. Where applicable, adjust drain heights to accommodate new roof and insulation height; 2. Removal and legal disposal of existing roof system, insulation and related flashings down to existing gypsum deck; a. Where indicated, removal and safely storage of existing cleat coping, for re-installation; 3. Disconnecting of existing exhaust fan, to allow for new flashings, and re-installation of using existing holes; 4. Disconnecting of existing HVAC unit, to allow for new blocking flashings, and re-installation of using existing holes; 5. Disconnecting of gas lines as required to provide access for roofing Work; 6. Removal of abandoned conduit; 7. Providing new roof hatch at existing location, as indicated on Contract Drawings; 8. Providing a nailed base sheet, mechanically attached; 9. Providing a 2-ply substrate membrane in hot asphalt; 10. Providing 2 layers of 2.6-inch polyisocyanurate insulation, adhered; 11. Providing a 1/2-inch high-density coverboard, set in adhesive; 12. Providing 60-mil fully-adhered EPDM single-ply roof membrane; 13. Providing new prefinished sheet metal flashings at perimeters of roof area and at projections, as required; 14. Preparing and painting gas lines after reinstallation.
