Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in La Vista, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.
The first two phases of Central Park improvements have been completed, and construction of a third phase (lighting) is planned for FY23. Funds have also been included in FY23 for replacement of the restroom, shelter and playground equipment that were removed from Central Park East as part of the Thompson Creek Channel project. This project will include design and construction of a combination restroom and shelter facility as well as the purchase of new playground equipment. This project is included in the city's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program. As of January 3, 2023, further details regarding design and construction timelines have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
