As of January 23, 2024, construction is underway. All subcontracts have been awarded. Demolition of existing City Hall Building and new construction of approx. 43,805 sf City Hall in Huntsville, TX. Project consists of new construction of a 2-story building located at 1212 Avenue M (Huntsville, TX 77340) which includes work for the following trades: building demolition, concrete, masonry, structural steel, millwork, waterproofing, building insulation, roofing, metal panels, doors, glass, glazing systems, plaster, drywall, grid ceiling systems, tile, resilient flooring, paint, signage, specialties, lockers, aluminum canopies, residential appliances, window treatments, elevator, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, network cabling, fire alarm, security, access control, CCTV, earthwork, landscaping, fencing, pavement markings, and site utilities. Subcontractors will be selected on a best-value basis with consideration given to price, schedule, experience, and safety.
