The City of Union City is accepting bids for the construction of a non-insulated 60x120x12 steel frame enclosed metal building, 4/12 roof pitch, wood truss on 2 foot spacing, (2) 36" wide aluminum frame windowless walk-in door, (2) 12x10 white non-insulated garage doors, finished 4-inch concrete slab, finished electrical. All bids will be received and ultimately awarded to the bidder with the most applicable bid provided that the City shall have the power to reject any and all bids for any reason deemed necessary by the City. All construction is to be completed no later April 31, 2023. All bids are to be in accordance with the above specifications. Any deviations or exception to the specifications must be set forth on a separate page. Bid is for the period December 28, 2022 and ending January 13, 2023. A certificate of liability insurance must be presented with the bid in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 limit for each occurrence with workers compensation and employer's liability. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount must be presented with the bid as well. Upon award of contract, a payment and performance bond in the amount of 100% of bid shall be submitted to the City as specified by T.C.A. 12-4-201. Builder is to provide the City Builders Risk Coverage.
