Notice is hereby given that the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SUPERINTENDENT) is seeking the services of a Construction Manager (CM) for various construction, modernization and site improvement projects located within the county of San Bernardino, California. The SUPERINTENDENT will receive sealed proposals up to, but not later that the time fixed above. The RFP shall remain open, valid and subject to acceptance anytime within ninety (90) days after the RFP opening date and time unless otherwise stipulated. CM shall possess at the time of submission a current contractors license, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3300 and Business and Professions Code Section 7028-15, for the applicable work proposed to be furnished. The successful bidder must maintain the license throughout the duration of this contract. CM'S responding to this request for proposal must possess a California Contractors B General Contractors License. Contractors are advised that this contract is a public work for purposes of the California Labor Code, which requires payment of prevailing wages. Wage rates can be obtained from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations at electronically . As of March 1, 2015 all contractors bidding on a public works project must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
