Site work and renovation of a civil project in Oroville, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of, but is not limited to, testing, drilling, construction of the new water wells, and destruction of the existing wells. The County has hired Luhdorff & Scalmanini Consulting Engineers to design the Project. Attached are the drafted plans and technical specifications for the water wells. The awarded contractor is to pull the necessary well permits for the owner, Feather Ridge Estates. Feather Ridge Estates (Community) is a 38-unit rural residential community in Berry Creek that suffered severe fire damage in the recent Bear Fire. The Community's water system has two wells, water storage facilities, a water distribution network, and service connections.The County received funding for the project from the State of California Department of Water Resources (DWR) through the Small Community Drought Relief Program. Engineer Opinion of Cost Range: $250,000 - $350,000. Question Deadline 08/31/2023 at 5:00 PM PT The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte reserves the right to reject any or all bids or alternate bids deemed not advantageous to the County of Butte, and to waive any informality in any bid received. The award, if made, will be executed within forty-five (45) calendar days after the opening of bids.
