Renovation of a municipal facility in Portsmouth, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Alterations to the Second Floor of the Scioto County Courthouse Each bid proposal shall include all lab, materials, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the drawlings and specifications as prepared by Randall C. Mullin, Architect. Prior to submitting a proposal, each bidder shall examine and thoroughly familiarize himself with all existing conditions, including all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations that may affect the work. Bidders shall visit the site, examine the grounds, utilities, and roads, and shall ascertain by any reasonable means all conditions that might in any manner affect the work. The drawings have been prepared on the basis of surveys and inspections of the site, and are intended to present an essentially accurate indication of the physical conditions at the site. This, however, shall not relieve the bidder of teh necessity for fully informing himself as to existing physical conditions. The Architect will share electronic documents upon request. The project is subject to the following special provisions: 1. Owner is tax exempt. 2. Project is subject to State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates. 3. APerformance and Payment Bond is required. 4. Insurance requirement 5. Owner is a grant recipient of American Rescue Plan funds from the U.S. Treasury. 6. 2 CFR 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) requirements. 7. Successful bidder will be required to provide owner with fully executed the Mandated Affirmations contained in Section 1 of the bid package. 8. Successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract containing provisions Required and/or prohibited by Federal and State Law. 9. Construction shall be completed with 120 consecutive calendar days. 10. Project is subject to liquidated damages for failing to complete the project within the specified time. The Architects estimate for the project is posted below: Base Bid:$212,000 The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bids received after the time set will be returned unopened. Bids shall not be modified, withdrawn or canceled without the Owners written consent for a period of sixty (60)calendar days commencing from the bid date.
