Contract term: Work Completed by October 2023 Construction of a concrete flume, overflow pipeline and connecting manholes. Construction of a new sanitary sewer line with manholes to reroute house laterals to the new municipal sewer and cap off existing connections to the existing municipal sewer. Construct new storm water catch basins and culverts to replace those existing. Restore road pavements and areas disturbed by the work. This project has been funded in part by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservations Climate Smart Communities Grant Program. The project starts in the vicinity of 14 County Road 164 and runs along County Road 164/Beechwood Road, across State Route 52 and terminates at the bank of the East Branch of Callicoon Creek, Town of Delaware, Sullivan County, New York. Provide maintenance and protection of traffic within the project limits as shown in the contract documents. x Layout and instrument survey of items in contract. x Remove existing culvert and catch basins at the State Route 52 intersection with County Road 164 and replace with new catch basins and culvert. x Construct new concrete flume and pipe arch pipeline and ancillary components. x Disconnect existing laterals to the existing sanitary sewer and cap. x Construct a new sanitary sewer system to reconnect the laterals and sewer to the existing sanitary sewer at the intersection of State Route 52. x Reconstructed roadway and portions of driveways disturbed by the project. x Install a backflow preventer in the basement of a residence. x Seed and mulch all disturbed lawn areas. x Complete incidental work and appurtenances that are necessary to completely and satisfactorily complete the project.
