Renovation of a residential development in Massena, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Repairs to Unit 74 Perkins Road for Massena Housing Authority Proposals received after that time will not be accepted. Single lump sum bids are required accordance with plans and specifications. Davis-Bacon Act Federal Wage Rates (40 U.S.C. 276a to a-7) and as supplemented by Department of Labor Relations (29 CFR par 5 Labor Standards Provisions Applicable to Contracts Governing Federally Financed and Assisted Construction) and Certified Payroll apply. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Massena Housing Authority (MHA) follows all rules and regulations set forth by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The MHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and encourages Women and Minority Owned Businesses and Section 3 enterprises to submit proposals. Attention of bidders is called to the tax exempt status of the Massena Housing Authority. Bids should not include sales and compensating use tax on the cost of materials which are to be incorporated into the structure. The Massena Housing Authority reserves the right to consider all bids for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days following the bid opening before awarding the Contract, during which period bids shall not be withdrawn, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids, and to award the Contract in the owner's best interest. The date of substantial completion for the work shall be 1 April 2023. A penalty of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day may be assessed for late substantial completion.
