Renovation of a mixed-use development in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
This project consists of selective demolition of the existing theater and adjacent locker room areas, with locker room block to be reconfigured to include 3 new classrooms and other existing locker room spaces to be modified; a new theater for 730 and relocated main school entry will occupy the existing theater space and expand into the existing front landscaped area. It will include a new raised roof, front lobby, A/V booth, concessions, dressing rooms, workshop, storage & toilets. Questions Due Date: Jan 26th 2023, 3:00 PM To be eligible to respond to this proposal, Contractors must pre-qualify as outlined in CCSD Board Administrative Rule FGC-R which is available on the CCSD website, www.cobbk12.org by selecting "Menu" link, then select "Board", then select "Policies & Rules", then select Section "F" and choose FGC-R. The deadline for submitting pre-qualification requirements for this project is 3:00 PM ET on January 26, 2023. Contractors must provide proof of previous job experience within 30% of the cost of this project. CCSD will consider the pre-qualification submittal and respond within five (5) business days. TOTAL SCHOOL = 254,944 SF THEATER MODIFICATION = 21,222 SF LOCKER AND CLASSROOMS MODIFICATIONS = 11,685 SF Intent to Bid Due Date: Feb 9th 2023, 3:00 PM EST
