Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pekin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of January 25,2023, this project has been awarded to WM. Aupperle and Sons, Inc., in the amount of $559,841.45. The project work shall include, but not limited to, removal of existing pavement / bituminous surface treatment, removal of existing storm sewer, asphalt pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and detention pond, earthwork, paint pavement markings, and miscellaneous site restoration. Completion date for this project is August 4th, 2023. All bidders are hereby advised that they must submit a Pre-qualification Statement for this Project prior to opening of Bids. An IDOT Certificate of Eligibility Statement will be deemed acceptable for the Prime/General Contractor bidding this work. A CDB Certificate of Eligibility Statement will not be acceptable for the Prime/General Contractor bidding this work. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to Pekin Community High School - District #303, in amount of five percent of total of bid(s) upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Commencement of the work on the project may begin as early as May 31st, 2023. Any work before this date shall be subject to the discretion of Pekin Community High School. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statues, Chapter 48, Section 395S - 1-12).
