Site work and paving for a civil project in Wenatchee, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
This project will replace the existing structurally deficient bridge with a new bridge or box culvert structure. It will also widen the roadway at the location of the structure to provide for pedestrian improvements and placement of the bridge rail outside of the clear zone. As of August 26, 2024, this project is included in the City of Wenatchee's Fiscal Year 20024 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Further information regarding a design firm and a timeline for construction has not yet been established yet. Previous solicitation listed below for reference: Description: The City of Wenatchee invites qualified engineering firms to submit a Statement of Qualifications for developing the following project. The selected consultant will provide services including: research and design, public involvement, surveying, environmental permitting, real estate services, and construction management for a bridge rehabilitation project concerning the Millerdale Avenue Irrigation Canal Bridge. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
