The City of Barrie is seeking to procure a consultant to evaluate and continue with appropriate annual monitoring as determined, to identify the comprehensive risks to public land users and the current environmental condition of the two (2) Historic Waste Site areas (referred to as Bunkers Creek and Dyment's Creek Historic Waste Sites - Figure 1 and 2) and how it relates to applicable Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) standards based on relevant land use (i.e. parkland, residential, industrial, etc.). In addition, the successful consultant will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of monitoring well, and/or gas probe installation and or decommissioning/abandonment as deemed necessary during the project.
