Scope of Work Retube of Bryan Boiler (Model V600-S-150-FDG) o Remove casing and insulation from boiler o Remove and dispose of (82 total) outer and inner tubes o Install 40 inner tubes and install 41 outside tubes o Perform a hydrostatic test of boiler o Reinstall insulation and casing Please note: o This boiler is in the penthouse mechanical room four stories up - elevator does go to the penthouse. Awarded vendor will be expected to keep the area clean andfree of debris. An inspection of such will be done before signing off on the job complete. The campus water treatment company will be involved for the boil out of the tubes. If leaks appear with the connections or due to imperfections of the tubes, it will be the awarded vendor's responsibility to return and fix to make the boiler operate safe. Any ground torn up as a result of the job will be up to the contractor to fix back to original state. o If a site visit is needed prior to quoting, please reach out to Steven Morse at (585) 245-6423 or morse@geneseo.edu, no later than COB, January 18, 2023 to schedule a visit. o NYS Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The vendor awarded this procurement must send in certified payrolls with their invoice (PRC #:2023000053). o NYS Worker's Compensation Law, Sections 57 and 220, requires State Agencies to ensure, PRIOR to entering into any contract (including purchase orders), that the intended vendor has appropriate NYS workers compensation and disability insurance coverage. The awarded company for this project will be required to provide documentation to evidence they are in compliance with this requirement
