A200 Building Finishes Refresh Project at Irvine Valley College The Preliminary Cost Estimate is provided for reference purposes only. Bidders must independently evaluate Project requirements and propose a price for completing Project construction and other obligations under the Contract Documents based on each Bidder s independent evaluation. 2. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk Contractors License Required . B General Contractor. Bid Security . Bid Proposals must be submitted with Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bidder s proposed price to complete Project construction and obligations under the Contract Documents. Bid Security shall be in the form of cash, cashiers/certified check payable to the District, or Bid Bond in the form and content included with the Contract Documents. Submittal of Bid Security shall be in accordance with the Information for Bidders. PreBid questions or clarification requests musts be submitted no later than January 19, 2023 at 5:00 PM. The District will not respond to any Bidder inquiries or clarification requests submitted after such date/time. District responses to Bidder inquiries or clarification requests will not be directly distributed to Bidders The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding. Completion Date: 152 Calendar days.
