Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Woonsocket Housing Authority, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for completing site improvements at Parkview Manor, RI 3-3; Kennedy Manor, RI 3-4; Crepeau Court, RI 3-5A; and St. Germain Manor, RI 3-5B; in accordance with the documents prepared by William Starck Architects, Inc., 126 Cove Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. The work generally includes, but is not limited to the fol- lowing: Replacement of damaged concrete sidewalks, replace- ment or re-setting and reinstallation of precast concrete curbs, re-grading of site, saw-cutting, removal and replace- ment of bituminous pavement and repair of all landscape and grass areas disturbed by construction. Bids are subject to Equal Employment Opportunities, bond- ing requirements and other bidding and contract require- ments as set forth in the construction documents. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Woonsocket Housing Authority. Bids are subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor. The Woonsocket Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalitiesin the bid- ding if it be in the public interest to do so.
