Parks Canada requires janitorial services at the Saint-Fidèle Visitor Centre, the Pointe-Noire Interpretation and Observation Centre and at the Baie-Sainte-Catherine Wharf. The period of the contract is for 1 year, for services during the 2023 operating season, with the possibility of two (2) additional one (1) year periods for services during the operating seasons of 2024 and 2025. The Contractor must supply all equipment to do the work along with soap, hand paper, toilet paper and cleaning products, etc. All products used must be Ecologo certified or biodegradable. The Work is to be performed during the period of May 1st, 2023 to April 30, 2024.(Service period is from May 1st to November 30th) Option to Extend the Contract The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment. Bidders who do not confirm attendance, provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, or who do not complete and submit the above certification as required will not be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. No alternative appointment will be given to bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative. Bidders who do not participate in the visit will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. ENQUIRIES All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than five (5) working days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
