Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Middleton, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the construction of a 19,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; 39,000-square-foot municipal facility; and municipal facility.
The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. Middleton Municipal Complex to be located at the former Middleton Golf Course at 105 South Main Street, Middleton, MA. The project is to construct a new 39,000 sqft Public Safety Building, a 19,000 sqft new combined Town Hall / Community Center and new town green. Construction is to begin in Winter 2024 and be completed in Summer 2025. The Town Building Committee is a volunteer board that includes citizens with backgrounds in engineering/surveying, finance, architecture, landscape design/ architecture, site planning, project management, and construction. The committee has been created to oversee this design process. The project to be bid out as a CM-at-Risk (Ch 149a), the RFQ is part one of a two step process to select a Construction Manager (CM) for the project. Only pre-qualified CM's will be invited to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP) phase of the selection process. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The Projects combined Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goal is 10.4%.
