Pasquotank County is seeking a professional engineering firm experienced with survey, design, permitting and construction services for the Halstead Extension Master Meters Project. The project consists of determining the location and quantity of master meters along the Halstead Extension Corridor. There are approximately 250 individual services in this area that will need to be serviced by the master meters. The main water distribution line in this area is a 16. The selected consultant will provide engineering services generally as follows: Gather and evaluate available information provided by Pasquotank County Utilities Department (PCUD) and perform preliminary field investigations as needed for the design. Perform survey and provide design drawings and easements maps as needed. Prepare detailed design and specifications for bidding. Obtain all necessary permits and encroachment agreements. Provide traffic control plan if required. Provide bidding assistance. RFQ submissions must include at a minimum: Individual or Firm Information: firms legal name, address, email and telephone number. The principal(s) of the firm and the firms experience and qualifications: and Water/Wastewater Experience: The specialized experience and the technical competence of the staff to be assigned to the project with respect to water/wastewater improvements or related work, description of firms prior experience, including any similar projects, construction costs and names of local officials knowledgeable regarding the firms performance on related work. Include at least five references within the past five years; and Firm Capacity and Capability: The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the period of the grant, the past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work and ability to meet schedules, description of firms current work activities, capability of carrying out all aspects of related activities and the firms anticipated availability during the term of the project: and Documentation of compliance with state and federal debarment/eligibility requirements Pasquotank County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
