The existing roof areas (01.06, 01.06A, 01.07, 01.08, & 01.09) consist of a metal deck, a two and one-quarter inch layer of isocyanurate insulation, a one-half inch layer of wood fiber cover board, and a 2-ply modified bitumen roof membrane. b. The existing roof areas (01.10, & 01.11) consist of a metal deck, a two and one-quarter inch layer of isocyanurate insulation, a layer of tapered of isocyanurate insulation, a three-quarter inch layer of perlite, and a 2-ply modified bitumen roof membrane.2. Demolition: a. The existing roof systems shall have twelve-inch (12") squares removed at forty-eight inches (48") on center and all debris removed. b. All areas indicated as "W-#" on sheet titled "TS-1/THERMAL SURVEY":1) Roof assembly shall be removed to the deck in the affected area. Install new isocyanurate insulation to match existing insulation height. Follow installation instructions as indicated in 1.2 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, Section C, 3. Renovation/New Construction, subsection a.- 13. Renovation/New Construction a. Roof Areas 01.06, 01.06A, 01.07, 01.08, & 01.09: 1) Mechanically attach new two and one-half inch (2-1/2")layer of isocyanurate insualtion as required to meet 90psf uplift per FM Global. Install the new crickets and saddles, and cover board in foam insulation adhesive. Fully adhere new PVC membrane and flashings as specified herein and as shown in the project drawings as required by the manufacturer for a twenty-year (20) NDL Manufacturer's Warranty.b. Roof Areas 01.10 & 01.11: 1) Mechanically attach new two and one-half inch (2-1/2")layer of isocyanurate insualtion as required to meet 90psf uplift per FM Global. Install the new crickets and saddles, and cover board in foam insulation adhesive.
