For Window Replacement at Apartments The Housing Authority of the City of Bloomington invites quotes from properly qualified professional firms to furnish professional services for, the removal and replacement of existing windows from properties owned and operated by the Housing Authority of the City of Bloomington. All prospective Offerors need to be licensed and insured. The pricing shall reflect all labor, material, and associated cost for removal. The contractor who is awarded the contract shall furnish the following items. NonConclusive Affidavit: Proof of Insurance and payroll reports. Other documentation forms required will be included with the Contract Documents. Davis Bacon wage rates will be required for the project. Dispose of all materials in accordance with regulations and specifications (not in BHA on site dumpster) o Contractor is to completely remove and dispose of all materials associated with the window replacement. Window Installation: o Provide all labor, material, and equipment to install Twenty (20) new Vinyl frame windows o New windows are to meet Energy Star with Low e range coatings o New Windows to match existing size o New windows to be sliders with locks unless otherwise noted Window Finishing: o Where window is to be replaced in a finished space, contractor is responsible for all exterior and interior finishes associated with a complete window installation. Phasing: o Contractor is to provide a phasing plan that will minimize the impact to occupied areas o Contractor is to complete all work associated with individual widow removal and installation in 1 working day.
