The Town of Hillsborough is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for cleaning and televising certain larger diameter sewer lines. The town is interested in documenting the condition, depth, slope and location of the sewers and laterals. The scope of work includes: Coordinating with the town to notify affected customers of the ongoing work. Performing sewer cleaning and televising services. The sewer lines to be cleaned and recorded cover about 6,500 feet or 1.2 miles and are comprised of PVC, vitrified clay, concrete, and ductile iron. The town has 28 reportedly 48-inch manholes, most are elevated several feet above ground, and all should be accessible. Cleaning and televising services will be on live sewers, requiring work to be performed at the lowest of flow conditions.
