he town of Apex (Town) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for professional architectural and engineering services to complete a comprehensive facilities master plan for all town facilities supporting staff. Currently, there is not a comprehensive facilities master plan on file, but the Town does have partial plans for some departments and facilities that will be provided to the successful firm. The intent of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from architectural firms qualified and interested in the project. The Town plans to select a firm to develop the master plan and budget for capital planning and construction. Interested firms must have experience in master planning for municipalities including facilities for public safety. The Town has the following departments: Administration; Human Resources; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Town Clerk; Finance; Budget & Performance Management; Economic Development; Communications; Information Technology; Police; Fire; Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources; Community Development & Neighborhood Connections; Water Resources; Electric Utilities; Public Works; Planning; Building Inspections & Permits; and Transportation & Infrastructure Development. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
