The City of San Juan Capistrano (City) is soliciting proposals from professional engineering firms for Engineering Design and Survey Services to prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates (PS&E) for the rehabilitation and resurfacing of its local streets as part of the City's Local Streets Pavement Rehabilitation Projects (CIP 24102) for Fiscal Year 2022-23 (Project). Funding for this Project is provided through Measure "M", SB-1, ARPA, and Gas Tax funds. The City is seeking proposals to engage the services of qualified engineering professional consultant(s) experienced in the design of street pavement and striping. The selected firm(s) is hereinafter referred to as "Consultant". The City may choose to enter into a contract (or "Agreement") with one or more firms to perform the necessary services based upon proposals received. A detailed Scope of Work (Exhibit "A"), Fee Proposal (Exhibit "B") and Design Services Agreement (Attachment "A") terms are included as part of the Appendix. All questions or requested clarifications shall be made in writing via e-mail to the Project Manager (contact information as noted on the cover page to this RFP) no fewer than five (5) business days prior to the proposal due date. No verbal requests or responses will be accepted. Significant interpretations or clarifications will be addressed via addenda to this RFP. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
