Site Directions: 5790 W Michigan, Saginaw, MI 48638 Project Category Code: Water and Wastewater Facilities Description: Bank stabilization at the Wetland Treatment System. Scope: Bank Stabilization Animal damage and erosion have compromised the south bank. Contractor shall restore approximately 133' of the south bank of the Surface Flow Wetland #1 (see D-3164-3 for limits) to its original cross section as shown on D-3164-9. See attached drawings for reference. Care shall be taken to protect the geomembrane liner. If damaged, the contractor shall repair in accordance to the attached specifications. Contractor shall coordinate work sequencing, scheduling any required shutdowns with the operators at the wastewater treatment plant. This system typically has water in it from April to October annually. The operators can drain this cell as required to perform the work with a week's notice. This system is directly impacted by wet weather, and the Contractor shall plan accordingly. It is preferred that the work be completed when the system in not in service.
