The contract includes, but is not limited to, the following work: Supply and installation of pre-benched and pre-channelled sanitary sewer manhole bases (PVC channelling will not be accepted for this project as an on-going pilot study). Supply and installation of steel reinforced polypropylene manhole steps for both sanitary and storm sewer manhole (aluminum steps will not be accepted for this project as an on-going pilot study). Supplying pipe, valves, hydrants, fittings, manhole components, service connections, and all other material required to construct water and sewer utilities as per the drawings and specifications. Installing the water mains, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers. Connect to existing water mains, sewer, and manholes. Installation of lot service connections and service pipes (Provisional). Installation of water circulator hut(s). Pressure testing and disinfecting of water mains. CCTV recording, exfiltration testing, and deflection testing new pipe construction. Surface restoration of all disturbed areas. Fencing with signage at all site entrances, as described in the contract documents. Removal of 525mm storm pipe complete with installation of water tight PVC plugs and concrete restoration within the two connecting manholes (Provisional). Removal of 200mm sanitary sewer, where shown on the drawings (Provisional). Pipe insulation, where shown on the drawings (Provisional). It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be awarded February 2023. The RFQ timetable is tentative only and may be changed by the City at any time. The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of until October 16, 2023. The respondent shall provide with their submission, a Letter of Surety, executed under Seal by a Surety Company. Consent of Surety, are required in a digital format, and must be must be verifiable by the Owner. A Scanned Copy of the Consent of Surety will not be accepted.
