Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a pre-engineered storage facility in Pittston Twp, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 15,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for the addition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO) will receive Bids for the REBIDDING of the Additions and Modifications to the Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan Center for Healthy Living Weinberg Northeast Regional Food Bank, Jenkins Township, PA. The work, a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) project is generally comprised of a 15,000 SF pre-engineered steel warehouse expansion, related site, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and all incidental work related thereto. They will be considered at a meeting of the CEO to be scheduled. Construction Work is included in one (1) Prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis with alternate bids as indicated in the Bid Form. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a (A) "Bid Security" in an amount equal to 10% of Bidder's maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders; and (B) all forms, statements, affidavits, and certifications, as more particularly listed in the Bid Form A Pre-Bid Conference has not been scheduled.Changes will be coordinated through Addenda that will be issued to bidders. The Labor Standards, Wage Determination Decision and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contracts. The contractor must comply with the minimum rates for wages as determined by the US Department of Labor in the Federal Register in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act AND as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (43 P.S. 165-1 through 165-17) Non-discrimination in Employment--Bidders on their work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order 11246 and will be required to insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, familial status in employment or the provision of services. The successful bidder must utilize to the greatest extent feasible, minority and/or women-owned businesses located in the municipality, county, or general trade area. The CEO does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability of familial status in employment of the provision of service. The CEO is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price. The CEO reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by Owner for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of a Contract.
