Interested suppliers should note that BC Bid has upgraded its platform and that registration (or re-registration) in the new platform is necessary in order to respond to any opportunity after May 30, 2022. Suppliers are encouraged to register on the new BC Bid platform, in accordance with BC Bid process requirements, well in advance of the Closing Time for the opportunity to which they may want to respond. Failure to comply with BC Bid requirements is at the suppliers own risk and BC Hydro does not assume any responsibility for the consequences of such non-compliance, including the suppliers inability to submit a response to this or any other BC Hydro opportunity. This Request for Proposals is issued by BC Hydro to obtain Proposals from parties wishing to provide specialized/qualified resources and equipment necessary to complete Distribution Maintenance Hole Inspections ($/Per Unit) and Detailed Cable Assessment Support ($/Per Hour) at various locations across the Province of British Columbia on an as needed basis. The Work is expected to take place province wide in four (4) Service Regions with eight (8) associated Sub-Regions and forty-eight (48) associated Districts. The Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (3) years, which may be extended for up to (7) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (10) years. This procurement may involve negotiation. This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
