The Boston Parks and Recreation Department, acting through its Commissioner, is requesting designer services, including site analysis, design development plans, construction documents, cost estimates and construction observation for improvements to the following parks: Boston Common - Tadpole Play Lot, Back Bay-beacon Hill Byrne Park, Dorchester Clifford Park, Roxbury Franklin Park - Bear Dens, Roxbury/dorchester Geneva Cliffs, Dorchester Hardiman Playground, Allston-brighton Mt. Hope Cemetery, Roslindale Town Field (Doherty-gibson Playground), Dorchester Walsh Playground, Dorchester Watson Park, South End Professional services shall be completed as stated in the "Request For Qualifications" which also outlines project fees. Applicants must be registered Landscape Architects or Engineers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The attention of all RFQ holders submitting request for qualifications for "Design Consulting Services" is called to the following Addenda to the posted Request for Qualifications. The items set forth herein, whether of omission, addition or substitution are to be included in, and form part of the RFQ for the above named project. Prospective designers for the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department Project are hereby notified of changes to the Request for Qualifications to be received as advertised. The following clarifications, modifications, deletions and additions are hereby incorporated into and become part of the Request for Qualifications. 1) Clifford Park revised scope and fee Scope: The project scope is for concept design through construction observation (Phases 1-4 of Anticipated Design Process and Scope of Services) of a comprehensive renovation of a 7.66 acre park including play area, dog park, courts, and athletic fields. Basic Fee: $500,000 Supplemental Fee: $50,000 The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
