Base Bid #1 - GMI Asphalt - $ 614,605 Base Bid #2 - GMI Asphalt - $ 177,458 Base Bid #3 - GMI Asphalt - $ 241,418 Base Bid #4 - GMI Asphalt - $ 48,000 The City of Somersworth is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to reconstruction and resurface existing road surfaces and/or place/compact paver shim, replace existing sanitary sewer and drainage manhole frames/covers, adjust existing drainage frames/grates, and place/compact a hot bituminous pavement wearing surface/overlay as detailed in this Request for Bid (RFB). Bidders must carefully read each specification outlined below. The City of Somersworth requests that paving work begin on Monday May 1, 2023 with a substantial completion date no later than Friday July 21, 2023 and a final completion date of Friday August 25, 2023. Any questions related to the requested work should be directed to Scott Smith, Deputy City Manager/Director of Finance and Administration via email at sasmith@somersworthnh.gov by 4:30 PM on Thursday January 19, 2023. To include permanent trench patch repairs at the following locations. a. 61 Union Street b. 341 Main Street c. 14 Guy Street d. Fox Street/Crest Drive Intersection e.
