The project will consist of selective demolition, replacement of materials, partitions, ceilings, flooring. Doors and hardware, painting, new air conditioning, new generator, new light fixtures, new power and data distribution and receptacles for furniture layout, miscellaneous equipment, fire alarm upgrades and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Bids must be on a lump sum basis. Bidders are informed that this project is being progressed by the Onondaga County Dept. of Facilities Management. This project will be subject to NYS prevailing wage. Contractor to provide the following: MWBE Utilization plan, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Policy Statement, Workforce Employment Utilization Report, Apprenticeship Program, and Minority and Women Business Enterprise Utilization Goals: MBE Utilization Goal of 18% and WBE Utilization Goal of 12%. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security Deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security must be in the form of a bid bond or certified/ bank check, made payable to The County of Onondaga. Bids with inadequate bid security will be declared informal. Bidder shall be prepared to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of the Contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to waive any bid informalities or to reject any or all bids.
