Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Norton, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; and water / sewer project.
Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation project for the Wise County Public Service Authority which generally consists of the rehabilitation of the existing 0.5 MGD WWTP including, but not limited to, aeration/ mixing systems, mechanical screen, grit removal system, various pump replacements, meters, a new pre-engineered metal building, ultraviolet disinfection system, SCADA system, generator, and various electrical upgrades, All interested parties are requested to meet the Engineer at that time. Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia ( 2.2-4330). Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. All Contractors are hereby advised that a portion of this project is funded from the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF). Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order #11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin and Executive Orders #12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 2.2-4343.1. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit Bids. The Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.
