The Leavenworth County Department of Public Works is accepting bids for "Culverts." Questions regarding the bid specifications should be addressed to Vincent Grier at 913-727-1800 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Questions may be faxed to 913-727-2894. The Leavenworth County Board of Commissioners has the right to refuse any and all bids and accept the best bid they feel is in the best interest of Leavenworth County. 1. Units offered under this advertisement shall be new, standard production models of the latest design in current production. 2. Pipe gage (thickness) for all culverts must comply with KDOT specifications. 3. Materials shall be of good commercial quality for the intended service and shall be produced by use of current manufacturing processes. 4. Material shall be treated to resist rust, corrosion, and wear (aluminized). 5. The price or prices quoted shall include all transportation charges fully prepaid and delivered to the County Shop at 23690 187th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048. 6. Delivery to be within 30 days of award of contract. 7. Leavenworth County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any non-conformity in any submitted bid.
