Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Simcoe, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This Request for Tender (the RFT) is an invitation by the Corporation of Norfolk County (Norfolk County) to prospective Bidders to submit bids for the complete reconstruction of Talbot Street from Young Street to Chapel Street in Simcoe, including the replacement of storm, sanitary, watermain, sidewalk installation and road reconstruction, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix C) (the Deliverables). The Bidder must provide an Agreement to Bond for a Performance Bond for 100% and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond for 50% of the contract price inclusive of taxes, issued and executed by the Bidders bonding company, which must be duly signed and sealed. Each Bidder shall submit with its bid a deposit in its own name in the amount of One Hundred and Ten Thousand, ($ 110,000) (a Bid Deposit). The Bid Deposit must be in the form of a digital bid bond, in the prescribed amount and issued by an agency licensed to operate in the Province of Ontario. All such documentation shall name the Corporation of Norfolk County as the payee and be in a form acceptable to Norfolk County Question Deadline: Thu Jan 4, 2024 4:00:00 PM (EST)
