Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Blackstock, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Design, supply, delivery and installation of a new playground at Roy E. Carter Park located in the hamlet of Blackstock, in the Township of Scugog. Bidders may submit up to two designs. Maximum cost excluding tax is $73,700. The Township of Scugog is seeking proposals from experienced playground equipment providers for the design, supply, delivery and installation of Junior and Senior playground equipment at Roy E. Carter Park in Blackstock. The existing playground equipment will be removed by others prior to the start of the contract. The scope of work for this contract will also include excavation and disposal of the previous equipment footings to 450 mm below the existing grade plus the supply and installation of engineered work fibre that meets CSA requirements. Roy E. Carter Park is located at 20 Crestview Avenue in the hamlet of Blackstock, within Scugog, Ontario. The existing playground is approximately 12 m by 8 m plus a swing set area of approximately 15 m by 8 m. The current playground has a sand surface. The replacement playground may be any suitable size for the park. It is expected that the project will completed be within 30 days from the start of the playground installation and will not be completed any later than November 15, 2023.
