This project is subject to the enforcement of the DLSE PWR Monitoring/Enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Division of Labor Standards Enforcement Pursuant to Labor Code 1771. Please be advised that this and all public works projects are subject to SB 854 DIR Contractor Registration DLSE Prevailing Wage Rate Enforcement & Monitoring. As of March 1, 2015, bids cannot be accepted nor any contract or subcontract entered into without proof that the contractor and all subcontractors are registered. Contract award will be based on lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The scope of work outlined in these documents is a summary of the work to be performed and executed by the contractor. For complete details of the scope of work refer to all parts of the construction/bid documents including the following, plans, specifications and all codes and standards referred to in the bid documents and governed by local standards. In short, the work will comprise, but is not limited to: Removal of existing asphalt, compact base materials and adding where needed, rough grade so to that water will drain properly away from buildings, install new asphalt no less than four (4) thick per grade, restripe after setting asphalt and after seal. Striping per existing layout, unless instructed by the District, seal all new asphalt. Adjust all yard boxes to be flush/even with new asphalt. Contractor is responsible locate and mark all underground utilities to protect them during construction. Contractor to provide if needed topos/elevations. Contractor to provide alternate bid proposal #1 for the removal & disposal of petromat for entire square footage of the project, provide square footage cost. District will not accept Pre-Bid Request for Clarifications (RFC's) after January 16, 2023
