Site work for a water / sewer project in Pikesville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be completed under this contract shall include labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the Pikesville Pumping Station No. 2, 42-inch Discharge Water Main, as indicated on the Contract Drawings, Special Provisions, Standard Specifications, and as directed by the Engineer. The work shall be complete, in place and ready to operate. Work includes, but is not limited to: mobilization; clearing and grubbing; demolition; construction of the new 42-inch and 30-inch water main; construction of a 72-inch tunnel across the I-695 Beltway; pipeline corrosion protection; installation of dewatering vaults; installation of butterfly valves and vaults; tapping the existing PCCP 36 Water Main and the installation of vault; new fire hydrants; reconstruction of fire hydrant leads and sections of existing water main; relocations of two sections of 12 water mains and removal and replacement of existing fire hydrants with new fire hydrants and reconnecting water services; traffic control; all related excavation, shoring, backfill; base and surface pavement replacement;surface course pavement milling and overlaying; landscaping and restoration; chlorination and dechlorination; testing; demobilization; and all other work shown on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents required to complete the Project in its entirety.
