The project consists of installing 6,175 LF of 12-inch DI water main along Mechanic Street extending from the east side of the Terry Dudley Bridge to 220 Mechanic Street (Gardener's Supply Company) and 225 Mechanic Street (Service Credit Union). A new sprinkler service and/or water service will be installed for each existing service connection. The project consists of installing 6,175 LF of 12-inch DI water main along Mechanic Street extending from the east side of the Terry Dudley Bridge to 220 Mechanic Street (Gardener's Supply Company) and 225 Mechanic Street (Service Credit Union) including services, hydrant subs, fittings, valves, and interconnections to the existing system. The project will be constructed in three phases. Phase 1 will include water main installation at the Poverty Lane intersection to allow the Farnum Hill Water Storage Tank to remain in service. Phase 2 will include water main installation from the Poverty Lane intersection to the Terry Dudley Bridge. Phase 3 will include water main installation from the Poverty Lane intersection to 220 Mechanic Street (Gardener's Supply Company) and 225 Mechanic Street (Service Credit Union). The City of Lebanon has pre-purchased the pipe and fittings and the materials are scheduled to be delivered on or before March 31, 2023. The materials will be stored at the Lebanon Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Contractor will be required to pick up the materials as needed for installation. The project also includes an Additive Alternate to construct a sidewalk from Price Chopper to Poverty Lane along the north side of Mechanic Street.
