Federal-Aid Project No. BRO-054B(001), County of Washington, Town of South Kingstown, Rhode Island, is for Bridge Group 54B - Route 138 Kingston Station RR. This project consists of the Superstructure Replacement of Kingston Station R.R. Bridge No. 372, Kingstown Road (RI Route 138) over AMTRAK Railroad (Amtrak M.P. OH Br.158.32) and Railroad Avenue. The total project length is approximately 0.21 miles. RI DOT - Bridge Group 54B - Rt 138 Kingston Station RR DESCRIPTION: Rhode Island Contract No. 2016-CH-037, Federal Aid- Project No. HPP-4862(002) is for the pavement milling and resurfacing specific sections of Kingstown Road (Route 138) between South County Trail (Route 2) and Kingstown Road (Route 108), located in the Town of South Kingstown, County of Washington. The project also includes, but is not limited to, overlaying Kingston Station Railroad Bridge (Bridge No. 372) with new surface course, performing concrete curb and sidewalk repair on the bridge deck, replacing existing curb ramps and sidewalk, installing new and resetting curb and bituminous berm, full-depth saw-cutting, cutting and matching asphalt, re-cutting traffic signal loops, furnishing and installing pavement markings, adjusting existing roadway structures and gate boxes, cleaning and sweeping pavement, localized loaming and seeding and all other incidentals necessary to complete the project.
