Northwest Arkansas National Airport, hereinafter called the Owner, will accept sealed bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment needed for the Project identified as Northwest Arkansas National Airport Landside Pavement Preservation Year 1, located in Bentonville, Arkansas.The Project work involves, but is not limited to, milling, sweeping, microsurfacing, tack coating, crack sealing, and paving of asphalt pavement; disposal of millings; application of cold mix patch and concrete patch; towing vehicles; application of reflective paint pavement markings; removal and resetting of wheelstops; removal and replacement of dumpsters; removal and replacement of loop wiring.Bid security, as defined in the Instructions To Bidders, in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid amount must accompany the submitted bid.Bidders shall make such inspection and studies of the site of the work as to familiarize themselves with all conditions to be encountered.Bidders must be licensed in accordance with the requirements of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of Arkansas, as amended. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100 percent of the contract amount, as security for the faithful performance of the work and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the work. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least 60 days. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or bid alternate, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejections, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. Badging is not required for the submission bids, attendance of the bid opening, or for construction.
