Site work and paving for a civil project in Temple, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This Project is to install 355' x 24' x 10" concrete pavement and drainage improvements on Old Hwy 81 at Loves driveway, Precinct 3 in Bell County. The construction foreman will call 811 to identify existing utilities before work begins. Care will be taken to locate and minimize damage to utilities during construction. Specifications for this project shall adhere to the TxDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and Maintenance of Highways, Streets, and Bridges (2004 Edition). SEQUENCE OF WORK: Parts of this project will be performed by Bell County Road and Bridge Department. The sequence of work is an outline for the stages of work. 1. Mill 8" into Salvage. (Road and Bridge) 2. Mill 10" and remove from site. (Road and Bridge) 3. Replace 8" salvage part and proof roll for completion. (Road and Bridge) 4. Install 10" concrete pavement. (Contractor) 5. Compact edge of concrete with flexible base. (Road and Bridge) The Contractor shall contact the Engineer or his designated representative two weeks (14 working days) ahead of his proposed start date. The Road and Bridge Department will prepare the worksite and provide barricades to close the work site. This project shall start not earlier than April 1, 2023, and completed not later than June 1, 2023.
