Renovation of an office development in Eudora, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a office development.

Restoring the exterior walls, repairing/replacing windows, installing an ADA complaint entrance, repairing floors and stairs for trip hazards, repairing ceiling and building joists, and installing required emergency lighting and exit signs. This project will address multiple code violations, including structural concerns, fire safety concerns, ADA compliance, etc. in Eudora, Kansas as indicated on the plans and specifications. Please note that all bidders should try to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and shall verify that they have inspected the existing site conditions prior to submitting their bid. For all construction and equipment contracts, the bidder shall be required to submit with the bid a bid guarantee not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The bid guarantee shall be a bid bond secured by a surety company. The Surety Company must be authorized to do business in the State where the project is located and must be acceptable to the Government. Satisfactory proof of authorization to sign on behalf of the company is required. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bid, and if it is in the interest of the Owner to accept it. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. The bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish acceptable Performance, Payment and Statutory Bonds each in the amount of the total contract price, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Document. Attention of bidders is called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Federal prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3 of the 1968 Housing Act, Segregated Facility, Section 109 of the 1974 Housing and Community Development Act and Executive Order 11246, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Owner encourages minority and women owned businesses to submit bids. The competency and responsibility of bidders will be considered in awarding the contract, and the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularity in bidding.
