Renovation of a medical facility in Lubbock, Texas. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of February 23, 2023, the project has been cancelled. At this time, it has not been confirmed if the project will be rebid. Due to unforeseen equipment failure in other UMC Operating Rooms, they have determined they cannot take OR #8 out of service in the near term. Therefore, UMC has directed the Design Team to notify bidders that this project will be POSTPONED. Proposals will not be taken on February 28, 2023 as planned. UMC intends to proceed with this project as soon as they can and will re-issue and notify of the intent to re-bid. UMC and Parkhill greatly appreciates the efforts made by each firm to prepare a proposal for February 28, 2023 and you will be notified of the re-start of the process UMC will receive sealed proposals until the date and time established for receipt, at which time UMC will publicly open and read aloud the names of Proposers and monetary amount of the proposals.
